I saw the third book in this series at the library and it looked pretty good. So I put Witch Fire on hold. I usually like anything supernatural, so I figured this would be no different. First page into it, I realized that it was totally different then what I was used to.

The book follows Mira, a very strong air witch. At the beginning of the book, she is unaware that she has powers. A very strong warlock is trying to kidnap her to use her to close a circle. The local coven has sent Jack, a powerful fire witch to protect her. While in his care, he starts to teach her how to use her powers.

Mira isn't under Jack's care for a night before the sexual attraction sets in. I have never seen so much sex in a single book before. I don't mind the occasional scene, but I felt that the sex scenes were overpowering the actual storyline. I think the book would have been better without the majority of the sex scenes. I also got irritated that Jack and Mira fell so deeply in love, when all they did together was have sex.

The storyline was a good one though, and I will read the rest of the series. I would give this book Photobucket, simply because there was too much sex.

For some reason I thought this was a totally different book. I have a series that starts with a book of the same name.

Jenn there is too much sex compared to your YA books. Just kidding. Excellant review again!
